Artist, Author, and Educator, Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Livingstone College. During her career she taught both elementary and middle school students. She especially enjoyed teaching math in very creative
ways. In 2004, she earned the prestigious National Board of Professional Teaching Standards Certification .

With a heart full of passion for nurturing young minds, Moore left an indelible mark on countless students throughout her illustrious career.

She instilled a love for learning in generations of students by fostering curiosity, creativity, and a thirst for knowledge. Now retired, Moore's skillful writing and creativity
continue to captivate young minds by teaching valuable lessons and social skills.

S J Moore has two adult children and one grandchild. In addition to writing, Moore spends time on a renewed love of art; often painting landscapes and nature.
